The main straight cluster of five grandstands is where the legendary Monza atmosphere truly comes to life. The largest of these grandstands, Grandstand 1, popularly known as "Centrale," offers some partial shade from the intense Italian sun. Views of the pit exit, the run into turn 1, and the most famous start/finish line on the grid are all viewable from this location.

What to Expect:

• Partially covered seating

• Being super close to off-track entertainment

Grandstand 7, which is in the ideal location to observe the fast pit exit, is just a short distance down the start/finish straight. This overlooks the first turn's apex, where occasionally two cars will be side-by-side while one is coming out of the pits. Grandstand 7 is an excellent choice if you want to be further up the main straight and close to all the amenities and big displays you can see from your seats.

What to Expect:

• Awesome view of Turn 1

• Close distance from the main straight

The views from Grandstands 8A and 8B, which are situated on the outside of Turn 1, are spectacular. Having a front-on view of the straight and turn 1 will allow you to experience the full sense of speed and the braking power of an F1 car. Since the chicane at Turns 1 and 2 is located at the conclusion of a DRS and severe braking zone, this is where you will probably see the majority of the overtaking throughout the weekend.

What to Expect:

• Some awesome braking and overtaking action right in front of you

• Front view of the first turn of the track

Grandstand 6 is positioned on the inside of Turns 1 and 2 and is directly across from Grandstand 8. Similar to those described for Grandstand 8, this location will allow you to see all of the action and overtaking into Turn 1, and some seats will also provide you a glimpse of Turn 2's exit. The first corner at Monza is always exciting, especially on the first lap when 20 vehicles are trying to get into the small chicane.

What to Expect:

• Once again, similar views as Grandstand 8 - stunning overtaking and braking

• Some seats overlooking Turn 2 as well

Grandstands 9 and 10 are located at the end of the short straight into Turns 4 and 5, which are also noted for having a lot of action. This area is known as Seconda Variante or second chicane. Despite the absence of DRS to facilitate passing, a successful departure from the first chicane will frequently result in wheel-to-wheel racing and, because of the high-raised curbs, occasionally, driver error.

What to Expect:

• Not an overtaking zone, but some close racing still

• Keep up with the race with a giant screen right across!

These grandstands, which are named for the late double world champion Alberto Ascari who tragically died at this portion of track in 1955, will provide you incredible views of F1 vehicles traveling at tremendous speed and appearing to be stuck to the track. Watch in wonder as F1 cars blast through the fast Ascari chicane in the second DRS zone and onto the back straight at top speed.

What to Expect:

• Located on the interior of the track and a short walk away from a plethora of food and drink options

• A view of the cars navigating a small kink right up ahead of you

The three grouped stands of 18-20 are situated immediately behind the Ascari chicane and are still inside the circuit. The paddock is located directly behind the stands, and there is also a covered marquee with a big screen if you prefer to lounge on the grass all weekend in the Italian sun. When seated, turn your head to the left to watch the cars enter the swift Ascari chicane.

What to Expect:

• Proximity to the General Admission area and the Ascari chicane

• Watch the cars picking up speed at the straight in front

The renowned Parabolica corner on the current F1 calendar probably rivals Eau Rouge in terms of "must be seen to be believed" appeal. You will be sitting outside the circuit in these six grandstands (21A-E and 22), giving you a true sense of how fast and maneuverable F1 cars are. Watch in astonishment as vehicles pass by at 340 km/h, brake hard, then turn right into the circuit's last corner at 180 km/h.

What to Expect:

• As you'd predict, some stunning braking action at the Parabolica corner after nearing insanely high speeds

• Proximity to the Fanzone due to being located at the exterior of the circuit

Grandstand 23 is a smaller set of two stands on the inside of the Parabolica turn. From here, you can watch the corner exit and get a few glimpses of the famed banking area of the course. Grandstand 23 has the advantage of being on the podium end of the circuit when it comes to joining the track after the race, albeit you will need to cross one of the numerous bridges to get to the F1 fanzone.

What to Expect:

• Located at the interior of the circuit past the Parabolica

• Great view of the post-race celebrations!

Grandstands 24 and 25 provide a superb view of the corner exit and the DRS activation zone because they are closer to Parabolica and at the beginning of the start/finish straight. The quickest pit entry on the calendar, where the vehicles enter at full speed before braking to 80 kph, can also be seen from here. You can see the stunning old banked corner to the right of these stands.

What to Expect:

• One of the best grandstand options for off-track celebrations and fun

• Being quite close to the Parabolica curve as well as the pit entry

The group of fans at Grandstands 26–30 may be the most ardent in all of sport, not just Formula 1. These stands, a favorite among onlookers, will be swarming all weekend with Tifosi in a sea of crimson. You will be able to see all the pre-, during-, and post-race excitement from your seats if you are seated just across from the distinctive podium.

What to Expect:

• Hands down the best grandstands for viewing the start/finish and podium activity

• A truly electrifying atmosphere all around you

Even though general admission spectators' views are likely to be less exciting than those of grandstand spectators, they have an advantage because they can move around and switch viewing spots while the race is in progress. The best spots to view the action are in the General Admission areas close to turns 8, 9, and 10.

What to Expect:

• A budget option but with better views than some of the grandstands, even

• Having to hunt for the perfect viewing spot - but there's plenty of those so it's all worth it!
